It's so charming! And the whole cast is adorable, and I love that I get my partnership buttons pushed with Booth & Brennan but there are all these other layers and relationships in the ensemble. (I feel like that scene with Brennan's confessional about being locked in a cell, in another show, might've been directed to Booth, but instead she tells Angela, which is just so right -- yet there's tons of Booth & Brennan things too. *happysigh*)

I tried the pilot episode when it first aired and it bored me. Just wasn't in the right mood for it yet, I guess or I didn't know enough about what it could be. It's often easier for me to get hooked on a show via dvd and mainlining it.
