I don't understand how any skateboard can be so expensive. I mean, this is no iPhone. A skateboard (and I don't mean this in a bad way) is one of the simplest things in the world. Even with a few extra wheels thrown on. Right? And wheels and a slab of wood can't be that expensive.

Yeah I think the stretch of road I have between Amtrak and work will be pretty good for it. There are a couple of gradual hills spanning a few huge parking lots, including a Great America parking lot which seems to be always empty.
