I'm on a crochet list. and full grown women with grandchildren talk about when they were "pregnate." It isn't, unfortunately, just a young woman thing -- they keep spelling it that way!

I vote that whenever we see "pregnate" or any other annoying variation of it, someone ought to respond with a simple "pregnant". That's it. Every time. See if constant repetition has any effect at all.

A very high-volume email list called Crochet partners. Since the membership is in the high hundreds if not into 4 figures, and I've only seen it once, I'm not completely without hope, but it did upset my apple cart today...
