Wow...keeping an arthritic, older dog in the garage is a GREAT idea...I'm sure it will totally help the GSD's arthritis. People are fab.

awww poor old doggy :( before our old guy died he was spoiled absolutely rotten with big cushiony beds next to every heater in the house so he wouldn't have to haul his arthritic hips to bed very far. I wouldn't have been able to sleep five minutes if I'd stuck him out in a cold garage.

Is it just me or do most people seem to have the whole "cats outdoors, dogs indoors" thing the wrong way around?

Totally agreed. I'm not entirely sure why people get pets if they are going to keep them outside. What's the point?

I have a pure Husky, and he either sleeps in bed with the youngest (once in a while he comes up with us), or under The Mate's chair (if he's sitting in it). I would never even DREAM of keeping him outside, nor either of the other dogs.

People suck.
