OMG, one of my outdoor kitties got hit by a car, and can a vet cremate him? Ha ha!
Oh, and I don't want to hear about what a bad owner I am.

In comments: They're farm cats, and I'm not punishing them (making them live indoors) because one cat was hit by one rare car driving by here!

She's not a bad pet owner! I think its meaner to make him ( Read more... )

itsnotp_rn.

What I summarized as the OP is pretty much it (though she did have a Ha ha thing in there after mentioning cremation). Then in the comments she first says she isn't bad because she lets her cats go outside.

She tries to say car-wise, it isn't an issue for them cuz the only reason that car was there was because they made a wrong turn trying to visit a different farm.

If I knew how to do screencaps and had a place to host it, I'd do that for ya. Then you can enjoy the stupidity wonderfulness that is itsnotp_rn.

It's locked, so I can't see the details but...

I am very pro indoor cat. I do, however, see an exception with barn/farm cats. They are usually working animals, such as a dog that actually stays out and guards sheep instead of sleeping in with the family. Barn cats are often necessary to keep down the rodent population that are adept at getting into bags of grain/feed. That being said, it is of course important to ensure they have adequate shelter/water/nutritional food besides mice etc.

I can't read TQC any more. If you say anything that resembles good advice regarding anything that could possibly in some backwards way be taken as a critical comment, FLAME ON! TQC is drama central. T.T

not to mention when people post hypothetical questions and then bug the commenters until they get the answer they want.

I hate that.
