Is it insanely callous of me to say that I don't think I would have purchased a hamster just dropped from 5'?

I think I would walk out of the store, stand in their parking lot, call animal control, and WAIT for them.

We've called animal control on this petco on more than one occasion. The small animal areas do look cleaner, but they're still selling them.

Keep calling, though. I used to go into the filthy pet store in the mall here, every week. I'd then stand just outside their door, call AC, and tell them which puppies had what symptoms (lots of yeasty ears and diahrrea, some fleas and ticks), which didn't have water, and which small animals didn't have food or water. Eventually, they shut the store down.
