My dog is food aggressive since I started feeding her real food. Can you help? Last time she growled, I gave her a good scruff shake and an alpha roll. I sure hope she rips my face off! I mean, I'm working hard on teaching her that I'm the bad guy, that growling in unacceptable (y'know, so she'll bite without warning), and that I want to steal away

While I haven't seen a dog actually alpha roll another dog, I have seen puppies that will roll onto their backs to show submissiveness to an alpha dog (and these puppies had never been alpha rolled).

Though my neighbor (who used to be a SPO and let his husky mix have a couple of litters) said that his mix has alpha rolled his mother's dogs before (though he was bragging about it).
