Yes, there's reasons for dogs to be on the street to get hit by cars. Yes, I'm sure there is. However, isn't it better to keep your dog ALIVE, and on a leash?

Oh come on!! ALL DOGS MUST BE FREEEEEE. If they aren't they aren't living true HAPPY DOGGY LIVES!!!

Your dogs are UNHAPPY because you don't let them do all THOSE REALLY DANGEROUS FUN THINGS LIKE WANDER THE STREETS.

Wow, I can't type too much like that, it makes my brain go splodey. These people who can't seem to use a leash are nearly as prevalent as the ones who think that keeping a dog chained up in the back yard is a perfectly appropriate way to let them live.

No wonder I like my critters better than people for the most part.

I should point out that Brandy was on-leash when she was hit.

Yes, but that wasn't there when this was first snarked.

Yeah, true. She's a friend of mine - I didn't want to come in all "YOU SNARKED MY FRIEND YOU KLINGON BASTARDS!!!" but I didn't feel entirely comfortable saying nothing, either... she's always struck me as pretty responsible.
