Dear Generally Terrible Person,
Bipolar Disorder is not something to joke about.
No love,
Me

P.S. I see you've kindly changed "bipolar" to "batshit" in the entry. You're still a generally terrible person.

Ugh. People are such assholes.

Someone should really tell this person that changing it to 'batshit' makes little difference - it is still using mental illness as the butt of a joke.

No shit... and then there was the whole alcoholism isn't genetic, yada yada yada. BTW did you know that a family history of alcoholism can be a factor in whom will develop bipolar disorder?? ::bright grin:: I have bipolar & an alcoholic father (now dead). I have two COBP kids (with a ultra-ultra-rapid swing bp w/paranoid tendencies dad). The fact that they had the bp father w/male bp relatives & alcoholism on my paternal side made my son's first psychiatrist say, (he was 4 at the time) "Oh yes, that highly increases his chance of being bipolar." Duh. I knew he was from the moment he was born. Ummmm, getting off of the soapbox now & making sure the Teenage Mutant Ninja Kitty Horde doesn't go looking for idjets to devour.

Wow, hollsh was pretty dense about the subject of alcoholism. I wish she would have had a chance to talk to my Dad-who received his thirty year sobriety medal from AA shortly before he died in April. And every single day of those thirty years was a struggle not to fall off the wagon.

And OP of that post is still a jerk. Edit or not.

Nice to see them using 'schizophrenic' too. I mean that's not a real thing that causes real pain and destroys lives, it just means someone changes their mind a lot or doesn't agree with you.

Stupid little nnnggghh... Biting my e-tongue now because my true thoughts would result in a ban.
