I'm so sorry, dosi. And I don't want to sound unrealistic, but don't forget at least in part of your mind that sometimes doctors are wrong. Sometimes they tell people they will only live for a short amount of time, and then--for God knows what reason--the person lives way longer. Not that I mean you should tell yourself that's what will happen, but don't give up all hope either. In the meantime, if you think it will help at all, I'd say write about it, and talk about it, and spend some time with your Gram. Don't leave things unsaid, you know? I wish I had told my Poppy how I felt about him, before he died, but it happened suddenly. I'm glad now that I at least told Nanny at that same time, how I felt about her. If she died now, that would comfort me.
