I have reiterated this a lot and I do mean a LOT in other places, but I'm not buying it until they escape and Marco decides that he can't be saved. Because man PHOENIX POWERS. I. I just can't believe Ace is really dead until Marco says he does NOT have some sort of ultimate move that can bring Ace back at the cost of his own life, because goddammit PHOENIX POWERS. It just doesn't feel like that's a coincidence, I just can't buy it ( ... )
