Yesterday we took middle son to university. He's been looking forward to it very much; he worked hard and was rewarded with the grades to get into his first choice, and has spent time during the summer holidays learning to cook and, I think, getting himself mentally prepared

*hugs* I'm sure you are missing him, and I bet he's missing you too (although I also bet he might not vocalise that!) Good that he's so enthusiastic about his Uni though.

From what I've heard, Uni housing has become one of the most over-priced things in the property market. And more and more private companies seem to be setting up just to supply it, which always suggests a worrying amount of profit!

I'm a bit shocked that the university accommodation is so expensive.
