Karelia

Two weeks ago my friends took me (well, more like forced me) on a trip to Karelia (the Russian part of it) and I've just got pictures from them.

Thought I might share them cause the trip had made me happy. And Karelia is really beautiful! :D

some rocks, rivers, lakes, cliffs and canyons here. )

These are breathtaking photos. It looks like a wild and beautiful place.

It was nice that your friend made you take a break for a few days - sounds as if you needed to get away for awhile.

Thanks for sharing these.

Yes, it was nice to run around in the woods if only for a short time. Also for some reason I'm beginning to like Autumn. All yellow and red and orange. :D I never cared much for it before. Too bad it's almost over here... Today it snowed. D:
Winter is coming.

I'm glad you liked the photos. Karelia is one of my favorite places on Earth. Seriously.
I always feel like it's filled with ancient magic. It's awesome! :D

P.S. I totally love your icon! :D What is it?

Wow, it's all so beautiful! I'm glad you got the chance to get away from everything for a bit - nature can be such a great help in lifting one's mood :D

Also, for some reason I love water, so yay for the gorgeous waterfall :D

I love water, too. :D Just looking at it can make me happy. And that's why I love Karelia so much - it's all lakes and rivers and beauty :D

And Yay, we have yet another thing in common! :D
