Thank god I know some Canadians. I don't know if you all know this, but they have a whole culture up there that doesn't include us. We've been fortunate enough to get a few quality imports like Second City TV, Kids in the Hall, Margaret Atwood... Occasionally the stick us with a clinker like Bryan Adams. Oh! I interviewed him right after The Telling of Lies came out. What a very likeable man. Beautiful, too. I have it on good authority that when he was young and working at Stratford, even the straight guys were crazy about him.

Maddeningly, Sam forgot to record the interview, so the only people who heard it were whoever was awake at some ridiculous hour on Sunday morning.
