To Simblr or Not To Simblr, That is the Question....

I realize this may be a moot question, since I update so infrequently, but I recently made a Tumblr (Confessions of a Failed Villainess, where I post geeky stuff, fashion stuff, music odds and ends and various things I am into...) and naturally, due to my interest in Sims and various simmers, I started following a lot of folks over there. If you do go the route of a simblr, I'd highly recommend a separate one (and on a separate email, if you can manage!) I have my main/simblr ones connected as such I follow a cluster of personal blogs and sim ones (over 3000 and it's a great mix of sherlock, dr. who, supernatural, sims, and everything else). It gets crazy, so I think it'd save you the headache!

I do enjoy tumblr for a quick upload of picture; it can be very handy. And there are layouts out there that show the text etc so the captions are easier to read (an example is mine, where it doesn't show them vs Drew's, which does). So overall I'm not much help! I enjoy tumblr for its ease of sharing pictures but I definitely think it's made things more quiet here.

Thanks so much for the thoughtful input! I obviously made the Tumblr, am slowly adding archive posts to the queue there, and will hopefully update it more once I can start playing again after my computer upgrades. ^_^

I agree that Tumblr has made it much quieter on the old LJ....

I send what the other commenter said. I made my simblr an extentsion of my personal non-simming account, and I can't follow anyone back on it, or if I want to follow a fellow sim player, they can't make the connection. BTW, I just started following you. ;)
