[introduction] [haiku] Seasons of haiku...this is Ceejay/Hikari Aoyuki
Hi guys! I apologize if this will be a rude way of introducing myself. *hides* My name is Ceejay but I go by the nick Aoyuki Hikari or Sora-chan online.
I haven't written for a long time, I know. I'm reviving my
dormant_muses (hi
luckychan !) by starting off with these haiku. Tell me what you think. ^^;
A little backgrounder: I made the first haiku last New Year's day, riding an FX on my way to work . The rest of the haiku were made when I'm at work. Special mention to "Hanabi" because while I was thinking of the words, we witnessed a fireworks display from SM Megamall. The title came from my co-worker who happens to be a Sino-Korean fan.
By the Water Side
Still pools hide secrets,
Untold stories and sorrows
Beneath their cool depths.
Earth Mother
From the dark cocoon
Of her nourishing embrace,
New life grows within.
Hanabi
Flowers of fire bloom--
Their petals scatter like stars
In the velvet sky.
(Note: Hanabi is Japanese for fireworks. Literally, it meant "fire flowers".)
Wind Musician
He comes unbidden;
Whistling his haunting music,
Murmurs and soft sighs.
I'm rather an on/off writer. Mostly, I write fanfics but I had several non-fanfic stories (which I haven't encoded nor finished due to several reasons excuses) made way back in my high school days. I'll try to find and post them soon, if I could. To tell you frankly, I'm kinda shy with having my works beta-read so I haven't published much of my works. Except in fanfic.net and they aren't much. Here's my profile. Mostly Hellsing fanfics and few X 1999.
Well, I'm currently working on with Choices -- my Hellsing fanfic (also my longest fanfic) for almost 3 years now. Still haven't finished because i'm still having conflicts with my settings (Kouta Hirano is a baaad man... T_T) so I might set this in AU.

Interlude of a Beginning
I somewhat abandoned this beta fanfic for the lack of idea and I got a bit scared with the theme. I felt sacrilegious doing it. X_x But it had an interesting aspect of creating man's attributes out of the seven Endless...hm. Well, maybe that could wait a bit.
For now, I concentrate on haiku and poetry. I'm not saying I'm good though. =_=
That's it. Hopefully, I get to revive my muses even I'm now working.
