Well, now that I know what the hell I'm doing, I have a couple of VD fics for you, starring none other than Brainiac 5 and Thaddeus Thawne. Because there's just not enough fic out there featuring them.
Also, I have a plea for everyone out there.
As I'm sure many of you are aware, I cannot save icons off LJ. Nothing I try works. This frustrates me, as I am an Icon Whore.
And I am dying for some Brainiac 5 icons. Any kind. Featuring anyone else. Just as long as it's Brainy.

Anyway, on to ficness. This is the first of two shorts that I wrote. Crossposted on dorksidefiker and heartbart. The titles were inspired by something a friend of mine said to me recently.

Bart Allen was scared. And with good reason.
"They've been at it for hours," he whispered.
Lyle Norg, the Legion of Super-Heroes' Invisible Kid, nodded in agreement as he watched the two blonde heads bent over something that was likely to explode at any moment. "I didn't know that speedsters could hold still for this long."
"Intertia's weird like that. Brainy does know he's my evil twin, right?"
"He said that was part of the appeal."
