“Alright,” Wanda said, surveying the damage done to the mansion’s once beautiful garden, “this stops now.”
Her sons both froze where they were, turning to their mother with identical looks of terror. Tommy turned to run, only to find himself hemmed in by a wall of force. Billy stood where he was, hanging his head and giving her a kicked puppy look.
Wanda ignored both the look and her older son’s terrified squeak.
“I don’t care what started it, or who, or why, but it’s done. No more insults, no more fighting, no more breaking things. Am I clear?”
No answer from either boy, so Wanda repeated herself, her voice cold and hard. “Am. I. Clear?”
“Yes, Mom,” the boys said as one.
