Santo was doing an amazing job of blocking Nezhno’s way, and looking unusually serious as he did so.
“Excuse me,” the Wakandan said, trying to move past. Santo continued to block the way.
“You,” the rocky mutant said, “are a complete and total asshole.”
“What?”
Santo’s huge hand pushed against Nezhno’s chest, making him stumble back a few steps. “I’m talking about Megan,” he growled. “You know, the girl you knocked up. The one you made cry.” Santo pushed him again, sending Nezhno sprawling to the floor. “Jesus Christ, what is wrong with you?”
Nezhno picked himself up off the floor, watching Santo warily. “What am I supposed to do?” he asked. “I do not even know if I will be alive in a year, and what I know about raising a child-!”
“What do most dads know?” Santo asked. “And trust me, if you don’t do the honorable thing my Megan, you won’t see the end of the week.”
“Are you… threatening me?” Nezhno asked incredulously.
“You bet your painted ass.”
