Glimmer winced and whimpered softly as the bones in her hand were carefully reset. It didn’t hurt as much as it should have, thanks to expert care and careful handling of her injuries, but it still hurt. Adora made sympathetic noises, and glimmer felt heat rushing to her face. This wouldn’t have been happening if she hadn’t tried and failed to rescue the blonde woman. Naturally, She-Ra was the one who saved the day.
“Thank you,” Adora whispered, making Glimmer feel slightly lightheaded. But that might just have been the resetting of her hand.
