“I’m sick of pretending to be just your friend when your family visits, Paras,” Victor said, carefully packing his things. “And I’m sick of hearing you tell me that you’ll tell them ‘later’.” He looked up, meeting his boyfriend’s eyes. “I can’t do this anymore.”
“But I love you,” Paras said softly.
Victor shut the suitcase with a firm push. “That’s not what it feels like. You’d better hurry, your parents’ plane will be at the airport soon. I’ll be gone before you get back.”
