“Julian, buddy, I need a hand here!” Brian said, ducking quickly into Julian’s room. “Help me!”
“… this is gonna be real good, isn’t it,” Julian drawled, stuffing his homework into his text book. “Okay, what?”
“The less you know, the less the telepaths can pull from your mind later. But this is all Santo’s fault. I need you to hide this for me, okay?” Brian said breathlessly, thrusting a backpack at Julian.
The telekinetic looked at the backpack, then at Brian, giving it a squeeze. It felt about half full, and whatever was inside was soft. Like clothing. “You guys went on a panty raid without me?”
