There was no reason for Victor to get so excited, and he knew it. They were just going into town for coffee at the Grindstone and a movie, if there was anything interesting playing. It wasn’t liked that even qualified as a real date.
But somehow, it made their fumblings wherever they could find a bit of privacy more… real. Like there was an actual relationship going on, and not just a bit of groping and fooling around to kill some time until Jean-Paul went back to his own time.
