A year ago, Megan would have thought that she was taking things way too fast with Tommy. She hadn’t known him more than a week, and he already had his hand under her bra while he mouthed wetly at her neck, moaning promises and making her arch and whimper.
A year ago, DJ was still around flirting with anyone in a skirt. A year ago, Xaviers was full to bursting with students. A year ago, Megan had thought she had all the time in the world.
A year ago, the soulless shadow of a former X-Man hadn’t tried turning Megan’s soul into a sword.
Life was too damn short for the moral questions.
