Jessica Drew stared at the hamburger she had been about to enjoy, suddenly not feeling the least bit hungry. Flash Thompson sat across from her, totally oblivious to the discomfort his was causing as he poured on the charm, trying to get Jessica to talk to him.
She was determined to keep her mouth shut, mostly because she suspected that if she opened it, she was going to puke.
A part of her, a spiteful part that longed to dig it’s nails into Flash’s eyes, was tempted to tell the bane of Peter’s high school existence exactly who and what she was, but there was the whole secret identity thing to consider.
