Jessica didn’t like the idea that she was a weapon in some crazy genetic arms race. She absolutely hated it, in fact.
What she hated more was the fact that there were people out there who knew how to make more people like her.
People like Ben Reilly.
If Jessica had been Peter Parker, she probably would have left Ben alone -- but she wasn’t Peter, and she had advantages that her… brother was probably the closest term… didn’t. Her makers had worked very hard and trained her very well. She knew how to get at Ben Reilly without getting caught.
