Eli was trying very hard not to look at Kate and what she was doing. She wasn't making it easy with the slurping and the 'mmm'ing and the sucking. Oh God, the sucking. The pen in his hand snapped in half, spilling ink across his fingers and his homework. "Dammit!"
"You really need to relax, Eli," Kate said, waving her Blow Pop in his direction.
He stared at her for a very long moment, and she popped the damn thing back in her mouth. Sloooowly, she pulled the Blow Pop back out, licking it with the tip of her tongue.
'She can't possibly know what it looks like,' he thought as she sucked the whole thing back in. And she was making that noise again. He closed his eyes and whimpered softly, turning away.
"Something wrong, Eli?" Kate asked, talking around the Blow Pop.
"No. Nothing. Igottagoseeyoulater!"
Kate watched Eli run out of the Lair and grinned to herself.
