Lyle’s hands tugged insistently at Querl’s lab coat, pulling it off and discarding it haphazardly as he wedged a leg between the Coluan’s thighs. Querl made a small noise of protest, which quickly subsided into an acquiescent moan as the human nibbled on the nerve cluster where his neck joined his shoulder. Lyle ran his hands down he backs of Querl’s thighs and lifted him onto the nearest flat surface.
Lyle had his hands inside Querl’s pants when the hair-raising beep started. Both Legionnaires froze, then made a mad scramble for the blast screen. They made it behind the shield moments before the blast ripped through the lab.
“We were on a control panel, weren’t we.”
“Yes, I believe we were.”
