View
Teddy was absolutely certain that nothing could match the view he got when Billy was flying them through the city.

Ice
It felt like Billy’s blood had turned to ice when he realized the Super-Skrull had taken Teddy.

Overwhelmed
Billy held Teddy’s shaking hand in his as Mrs. Kaplan explained that they were moving to a larger apartment - had been meaning to for years really - and that they would be more than happy to have Teddy move in with them.

Hero
Teddy clung tightly to Billy, nuzzling his ear as he whispered, “I knew you’d come.”

Cover
Billy raised his hands to bring down lightning as he told Teddy to run; he would cover the escape.

Body
Ted wasn’t entirely surprised when he woke up next to Will’s cold, still body.

Hope
He knew Billy was coming, deep down in the depths of his soul.

Cold
“Dude,” Billy whispered reverently, “you got Iceman to sign your forehead?”

Fire
Neither Billy nor Teddy could stand to be around when Mr. Kaplan was grilling.

Forever
“Promise,” Teddy whimpered in the night, his face buried in the crook of Billy’s neck, “that you’ll never leave.”

Box
“I need more long boxes,” Teddy announced after greeting Billy with a kiss.

Talent
“That,” Teddy murmured breathlessly, moving his fingers through Billy’s hair, “was pure talent.”

Laugh
Billy’s impression of Kate and Eli always made Teddy laugh.

Memory
The image of Kl’rt the Super-Skrull kissing Ben Grimm at their wedding was forever etched into their memories.

Silence
They didn’t need to speak to understand each other.

Whisper
“I love you,” he whispered in the dark.

Wings
The only time Will was more scared than the first time Ted used his wings was the first time Rebecca used hers.

Fall
Teddy’s heart climbed into his throat as he watched Billy tumble from the sky.

Gravity
“Just don’t drop me.”

Silk
Teddy ran his hands up and down Billy’s thighs, enjoying the silky feel of his skin.

Fever
Teddy’s skin was impossibly, feverishly hot as Billy kissed his way down his chest.

Red
Teddy held tightly to the scraps of Billy’s cape as he screamed his rage into the air.

Sacred
“Is that a Warren Ellis autograph?”

Ring
The ring gleamed brightly as Billy slipped it over Teddy’s finger; it’s twin already graced Billy’s hand.

Forgotten
The dinner burned as Billy’s mouth closed over Teddy’s flesh.

Breath
Teddy found it hard to breath as Billy nuzzled his stomach.

Dance
Billy loved to dance, and Teddy loved to watch Billy dance.

Hurricane
Billy was humming a song from an 80’s hair band the first time he met Teddy.

Formal
“You look damn good in a tux,” Teddy said, nibbling on Billy’s collar bone.

Music
Billy’s love of the Dropkick Murphys never ceased to amuse Teddy.

Eclipse
Billy was reminded of how you weren’t supposed to look directly at an eclipse every time he looked at Teddy, but he wasn’t sure why.

Mask
“Okay,” Billy admitted as he studied his face on the front page of the Daily Bugle, “maybe I should have worn a mask.”

Temptation
“That Hawkeye statue is totally calling my name.”

Unknown
When Billy wrapped himself around Teddy and asked what they would do now, all Teddy could think to say was “I don’t know.”

Wait
Teddy pressed his hand to Billy’s lips, gesturing for him to wait a moment as he set his comics down.

Farewells
They always said goodbye to each other, just in case.

Journey
They took every step of the journey to find the truth of Billy’s origins together.

Candle
“I’m pretty sure magic candles aren’t supposed to be pink.”

Strength
Billy was Teddy’s strength through it all.

Lies
Neither of them liked lying to their parents, but how do you tell someone something like this?

Highway
Flying, Teddy thought, grinning at Billy, was so much better than taking the highway.

Midnight
As far as Billy was concerned, it was the best New Years kiss ever.

Search
“Where are the damn condoms?”

World
Billy would do anything in the world to keep Teddy by his side; the blond shape shifter was his whole world.

Talk
They talked about everything and nothing as they lay tangled up in Billy’s sheets.

Drink
Billy didn’t drink - it was too dangerous, with his powers - and neither did Teddy.

Promise
“I will always find you.”

Dreams
Sometimes, it was so unreal when they were together that Teddy expected to wake up and find it was all a dream.

Lock
The first thing Billy did when Teddy moved in was buy a lock for his bedroom door.

Run
Before Billy met Teddy, it was like he was always running away from something; now, he felt like he had something to run to.
