Wow, I love the way you write Estonia, I've never seen him written like this before.

Your characterisation of everyone is so spot-on as always, I love it.

Funny that I've been getting comments on Estonia. I don't think I've ever legitimately read him in fanwork so I don't really have a basis for comparison. Glad you liked it though!

And thank you. :E It's a shame that everyone is grrSrs but it really can't be helped.

I didn't expect Estonia, and yet I love the subtlety there.

What stood out for me, though, was Russia's jealousy in a way that's not completely physical. It's all mindgames and a need for assertion that ties the pieces of this chapter together, especially with how fluidly you end it. I don't think it's a boring chapter at all!

What Russia wants, Russia gets. 8|

I want to shove in more information about the Soviet Union and the satellite communist states but... I think I forgot to. Oops. Regarding the power play, this is basically the basis for it:
The governments of Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania view themselves as continuous and unrelated to the respective Soviet republics.

Russia views the Estonian, Latvian, and Lithuanian SSRs as legal constituent republics of the USSR and predecessors of the modern Baltic states.

The Government of the United States and a number of other countries did not recognize the annexation of Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania to the USSR as a legal inclusion.

Loving the sensuality of this fic, and adding to the stream of praises you've received about Estonia because you've managed to give him the snark that (I think) we *all* know he has. Deep, deep down, of course.

Wonderful stuff.
