So, I downloaded Sim 3 for like...the fourth time, and installed it + patched it, and now I'm downloading ambitions, I think I'll skip world adventures or whatever that expansion was called 'cause last time I tried it, it made my game go reaaaaally slow ( Read more... )

I'm tempted to do that too! But since we have the whole new stupid file sharing law in NZ now (they rushed it because of the Christchurch Earthquake - not sure how that worked!) I gotsta be careful =)

I'm pretty sure we have lots of laws against file sharing, but obviously the whole enforcing those laws thing doesn't seem to be working out too well.
plus, I'm too cheap to buy games, sixty dollars is like, a small fortune in my frugal mind.

I played for a little while tonight with the base game. TS3 is just so new and annoying compared to TS2 in regards to CC and hacks and all, it seems like such a pain in the butt to put in mods for different things and make sure they aren't conflicting and whatnot, especially since I like playing with awesome mod.

I think if I installed sims 3 on my computer it would explode! And they all have pudding faces. :(

whenever I install TS3 I get all excited like it's going to be awesome, then I realize that for some reason it runs like shit on my computer, and also...PUDDING FACES =[

when I loaded up I was actually a little disappointed, the boob sliders seem to grow them OUT and not like...rounded at all? I don't know. very bubble boobie.

Yes, I noticed they were rather torpedo-like. The proportion is weird or something. However, the option was neat lol.

true! the option is nice to have, though now I wish there were a built in butt option instead of having to download one. though, I don't have all the expansions and I don't really know what I'm doing so maybe there is one with another expansion.

I am so tempted to play the Sims 3! But I'm so attached to the Sims 2 and I'm fairly sure my poor desktop computer wouldn't be able to handle both in at the same time!

my poor computer is barely hanging on there, I apparently have 34 GB of space free lol. I don't even have that much stuff on here really besides TS2, TS3 and a couple of other games.
I think I need to try harder to get into TS3 'cause last night when I tried it I wasn't really that into it, but I also didn't have hardly any CC in my game. so meh, I just need to learn o make less pudding faced sims, which is hard!

I hope you can get into it! It took awhile for me to love the game, but now I can't imagine going back! It's not everyone's cup of tea though :D

If you need some CC links, I posted some for smustleparty here (http://stakeit-uk.livejournal.com/77601.html?thread=1578785#t1578785) CC makes everything better LOL I especially recommend Tamo's face replacements. They definitely help with the pudding faces...they have more contour and detail, imo.

awesome! I just installed ambitions about an hour ago and I've been skimming my sims 3 blog for nice looking CC, but it seems like a lot of it looks kind of low quality, though I did pick up some lip color by Tamo that looked really nice in the previews.
