What are some of your favorite home-cooked meals? My mom is going out of the country for two weeks next month, so I've got a chance to really flex my kitchen muscles. My repertoire is pretty small, though, and I can't quite make up meals on the fly.

The only thing I've decided on is spaghetti and meatballs, so gimme everything you've got.

About the only thing I can make besides spaghetti and various pasta is diced chicken in chicken-flavor rice-a-roni.

...but I guess rice-a-roni is like pasta's cousin, so it doesn't really count 8|;

Off the top of my head, I have recipes for a sausage skillet and a really cheap, really good chili if you'd like either.

Also, Kraft.com is like recipe heaven. It's amazing.
