Man, I had to do some ridiculous adulting yesterday. RIDICULOUS. It was terrible and stupid and will end up taking a big whack out of my finances and I hated it. I really didn't want to, but I made myself (the financial whack would've happened either way. I guess I just thought I should be there to see it happen, and learn about the process. Or.

But mostly: {{{Hugs}}} I know of ridiculous adulating things that pack financial punches. I'm so sorry! With the coughing just adding to the mix in not helpful ways. Here's to killing dragons and hanging with the boys and our own kind of priorities!

Awwww, thank you! Hugs right back! And now I am grinning... poor Russ. He knows he can never quite win. But he's in there swinging, and that's why he's my favorite boss. (...Well, that and the fact that a not insignificant proportion of the other bosses would and/or did turn on Kelly and Scotty in a heartbeat, and I can't see Russ ever doing that. Did we ever talk about my vague handwavy story idea with Russ in it? Where it looks like he's gone bad and defected, and Kelly and Scotty investigate against orders to try and Discover The Truth?)
