Yuletide reveal: 2 stories, Almost Human and Sinbad (2012)

Happy New Year! And it is Yuletide reveal-time! *\o/*

I wrote two stories this year, one "Almost Human" assignment (a long one, in fact the longest story I've completed so far), and one "Sinbad" (2012) treat that just sort of popped up in my head right toward the deadline:

Wow, I am amazed at the word count on your AH story. And now I really want to read it--I'd kind of avoided it as a fandom because my feelings about the show were so very conflicted, but it sounds like you address a lot of my feelings in the text. And of course, you're an amazing writer, so this is absolutely going on my to-read list asap.

Srsly, you and me both. I didn't realize it had gotten quite so up there, and then I think asked me if it had actually passed my Legolas/Gimli Big Bang, and YES IT HAD. *keels over*

You know, I don't even like that show (Almost Human), but I love Karl Urban, and I love that trope, and I love your writing, so I don't see how I can possibly be expected to pass that story by. *g* *opens in tab for later reading*

So you're saying I need to catch up on Almost Human so I can read your story, is what you're saying.

Uh-oh. I think that might be what I am saying.

Or, I mean, I do suspect it's readable without completing canon, though there are definitely plenty of canon references in it. It would spoil some emotional/character things, and also has a plot/character spoiler for a particular episode ("Unbound," ep. 9) that sets up the central story macguffin.

I suppose it depends on whether you enjoyed what you've seen already. I really loved my Yuletide complete rewatch, but then, I like the show.

If you do decide to catch up, just a reminder about the correct production order!

Haha, I'm just finishing up the Almost Human story, which I'm loving, and all the way through I've been like, "I think this has got to be someone I know." POINT FOR ME. :)
