I know it seems that I've fallen off the face of the earth. My last post was May 14! As it turns out my time on the computer lately has been dedicated to researching special ed law so I can advocate effectively for Andrew. My hard work has paid off

Transitions are always hard for Daniel also and we'll meet with his new teacher the day before school starts so that he can get acquainted with her and the classroom. School starts here on August 15th also.
Glad to hear he initiated conversation. Daniel will also do that with dogs. If he sees a dog, he'll ask if he can pet it. He never looks at the person he's asking but at least he does it. A big step for them!
