The best insight I have gained on how to teach this far is to do the work shoulder to shoulder with the student, and see what happens... from there, you find out just what they need to learn, and when, and how.
I also can't imagine teaching over email. But still, I am grateful to Gabriel for giving us a chance.
I am also glad that your little hard core group made it through the gates as well and proud to call you kin. a teacher couldn't ask for a better legacy.
Well, we are certainly on the same page, and of course we have discussed this very topic before! I cannot be a hypocrite and say that long distance teaching cannot work, or I would be dissing myself and my wonderful fellow initiates from G´s class. But I do not feel it is the ideal at all, and I cannot imagine teaching over email, either.
And I too agree with our mutual oath mother. I am so happy to be her cub.
Well, I have a kind of loose pedagogical plan that I use to teach Feri, that I'd be happy to talk to you about. Knowing how other people teach can help you develop your own ideas.

I am tentatively thinking of coming to the gather next year, though. I'll have to see shether it works out.
