Here is a huge meta post on the second half of Kurosagi that I wrote after finishing the series. And just to warn you, it's is rather long and contains spoilers for the entire series.

I too really want a sequel! I think there's just a great plot, and I love that kurosaki has a lot he still has to deal with, but you are given some hope to his recovering. I love Tsurara, she's such a compassionate person, and really wants to help him. I think they're chemistry was great, I was dying when they were laughing and having fun during the firework scene, I was wishing it wouldn't end :( But this is a great drama, can't wait till the next one, I hope there's gonna be a sequel O_O_O

I'd love to see a sequel, since there is some hope of recovery, romance, etc. The story is also left at such a point that a sequel is highly desireable :).

Oh, I loved this write-up.

I think this scene: The look on his face when he sees it is so longing, but the he throws it away because he's afraid of liking it and her,

might very well be my favorite in the whole drama. He is so messed up but he is so young, ultimately I ended up feeling so dreadfully sorry for him. I think, meeting the man who was like his father but didn't kill the family might help him come to terms with things. I hope.

I think meeting Tsurara and her constant support despite everything might give him enough impetus to change his life, but I'm fairly pessitimistic about it. He is still driven by revenge. We need a Kusosagi 2 to see his sligth change and the conclusions of his vengeance...

I seem to be haunted by typos: "fairly pessimistic" and "slight change" are the correct terms for this.

He really wants to keep on playing with his favourite toy, which is just one more reason why I would love to see them make another series of Kurosagi.

What I find fascinating is that Katsuragi has some very fond feelings for both Kurosagi and Tsarura, and vice versa I believe too. Katsuragi, I think, in a way views Kurosagi as some kind of son-replacement, but he will never admit it even to himself.

Yes, you are quite right IMO, but that also just fits into the larger theme about fathers and children I mentioned in my post.

However they might love their children, the parents can't help destroying their children by their actions in this dorama. And this fits just as well on surrogate fathers like Katsuragi, who feels some kind of closeness to Kurosaki, but can't help playing with him as much as he can.
