An Overview for the Upcoming Taiwanese Dramas

Aug 15, 2008 01:52

There are a lot of interesting Taiwanese series that are coming up, so I decided to make an overview.

I can't contain my excitement! So many cool dramas, stars and mix and match of actors! )

I feel so bad for Mike. He was so excited for this and things have just turned out so badly. And considering he didn't do Skip Beat because of this drama, it better be damn good. I so wanted a Mike and Ariel reunion *sniff*

I like ArJoe but this is too soon. I'm an Ariel fan so I would have loved to have seen her with someone new. I was hoping Vic but alas that didn't work out.

I feel bad for him too, but somehow I believe things will be fine. I mean it might take a lot of work, money and patience to finish this drama, but in the end they have to produce a good piece that will attempt to attract many viewers. Of course it's messed up that he has to go through this, but I'm not sure it's a total disaster. A disaster would be if they canceled filming completely, right?

Mike and Ariel is good too..But they don't seem to willing to work with each other. Joe with someone else is not bad either. In a weird and twisted way I would want to see Joe and Rainie together! It would be a real love square with Mike, Joe, Ariel and Rainie involved XD.

Well, I guess even though Jerry Yan is the male lead, he's not satisfied with his screen time. If he takes away more of Joe's time, then Joe will become a completely insignificant character (I guess to a point where Joe doesn't even wanna do the drama anymore.)

Lol, I know. I understand Jerry wants to have the most screen time, be the most popular, and make sh*t load of money...but why be so open about? Have dignity or something...which is stupid of me to say, considering this is show business XD.
Whatever, I just want them to resolve their issues and make a good drama!

As far as I know, pretty much all of these they haven't even started shooting yet. Except Mike's drama (they have began shooting it),"Miss No Good" (which will air at the end of this month) "Superstar Express" (they also started shooting...so maybe within this year?)

I am so excited for all of these! (Actually the Vic Zhou drama the most, sorry :P) They sound so awesome.

And I will watch Ariel Lin and Joe Cheng read the phonebook together, so new drama? Yay! Though personally I think a casting director is crazy to cast Joe as 'the other guy' in Skip Beat. I like the manga, and I like Jerry Yan, but there is no way I will not be rooting for the wrong couple :P

I haven't read the manga, but the plot seems really interesting! It's one of those dramas I would watch even if I didn't know any of the actors. But when I found out that Joe is the other guy, I felt so bad. It's like this...I don't mind seeing Ariel and Joe with someone else but not in the same drama! I love ArJoe so much that it would feel wrong to me. I mean, I really don't mind them having their own dramas and acting with someone else, but if they are together in a drama - they got to be together! I almost wish Joe would leave this project and they find someone else (especially in the light of all Jarry Yan's demands).

I know, WTF? There's no way fans are going to be willing to accept Jerry Yan over Joe Cheng in a drama with Ariel Lin. I mean I guess I'd be kind of tired of Joe/Ariel all the time but SERIOUSLY.
