Okay, my turn. Three dramas this time. See if you can handle it. ;)
First Kiss featuring Mao Inoue, Hideaki Ito and Yuta Hiraoka
In this romantic comedy, Inoue Mao stars as a selfish girl named Fukunaga Mio. Because of a serious illness, she lives in the U.S. for medical treatment. Before undergoing an important operation, she returns to Japan, where

Taiwanese Hana-Kimi FTW. >_>;; [And I know most people will disagree. :P]
I'm glad that you think First Kiss is good; I haven't watched it yet, but I read another person's comment on it, and they said that it wasn't really good, so...yeah.
I was pondering if I should watch Ushi ni Negai no Love & Farm. I might check it out. :]

Yeah, I think it might turn out to be a hit-or-miss sort of drama, but I also think that generally people should judge before subs come out because episode 1 has A LOT of talking, and I couldn't understand a word of Mao's speeches (usually I comprehend a word here and there that whizzes by) because she talked SO quickly (as a part of her spunky character). Plus, there's quite a bit of medical vocabulary and stuff too. ^^
Love & Farm is quite good if you're looking for something different to watch after all the humour in Hana Kimi or Yamada Taro... Something that's simple-looking but has great acting to balance it off.

Only if they had done so we would have had much better looking guys. The only idol in this series is actually Toma. Oguri Shun is not seen as an idol as he is only an actor. Same with the other actors. The only real idol is actually Toma, who is a Johnny.
Anyway, I agree with you. The Taiwnese version was much better as it not only stuck to the original plot of the manga (with a few changes for better live action dramatisation) it was also more fun.

I was waiting for someone to review First Kiss because I just watched it and loved it!! Wow...Inoue Mao completely blew me away...she just transformed!!
As an actress-she is completely impressing me:P I love her spunky and obviously icy nature and the fact that(as per dorama conventions) Yuuta's character will break down her cold exterior and fall in love with her!!Sqeee!!
Oh, that brings me to my next point-Yuuta!! I was soo happy when I found out he was going to be in this with Mao!! Yay...that is like, the best thing I could possibly imagine. And again he too is completely different from his character in ProDai. In Prodai he was sort of sure of himself and content but here is all(adorable) cute and scared but obviously infatuated by Mio^_^ I love the part when he kept saying "sumimasen" and Mio is like "you're too polite!!"...they are so opposite but so cute:P
And gosh Inoue Mao looks absolutely stunning in this drama. Her fashion is cutesy and all but in HYD she was obviously pretty but very boring fashion and looks- ( ... )

-yes, yes, I agree, most would...but I'm just...not into these boys...I'm into...slim boys, but Nanba should go eat something!!! Although I'm sure if I would have heard Wu Zun speak more english, I'd still be in love with him right now (just a quirk, it's soo cool and weird hearing them speak english, now if they spoke spanish...I'd be gone! LOL)

Yeah, there were plenty, but not as much as the Japanese version. And the supporting cast on the Taiwanese version (like the two mischievous characters/friends) weren't very good-looking...

I do like Toma a lot, though, especially in the 2nd episode. Maybe I just like the character of Nakatsu in general. And the fact they got the Nakatsu plot back on track in episode 2 was very nice, as well.

Yes, I agree, the Taiwanese version, Sano absolutely could not act. I actually liked the Taiwanese version's "stretchy" exaggerated expressions, you know? They were able to balance the funniness with the seriousness (with rape etc). And how can you say Ella cannot act? Yes, she did a lot of exaggerated expressions, but whenever there were emotional scenes, she pulled them off really well. And IMO, I think it's more difficult to be a hilarious actress than a dramatic actress.
Yes, somebody is subbing FK. He's 75% into the first episode. :)
Hmmm, Love & Farm really isn't very angsty like K-dramas; in fact, it has a more realistic aspect to it more like...
