I am watching Nobuta Wo Produce episode 4 and it is LOVE.

But you know why it is love?

and while enjoyable, I don’t get much love for LV. I know everyone loves it madly except for me, and I feel left out.

That is also my problem with the series. Senna at 24 is so much more serious than Minami at 31. And she is not cute ... she is ditzy, selfish and most of the time she gives mixed feelings. While Senna is clearly in love with her from ep6 onwards (he realizes when some guy visits him at music school and they talk about Minami) I always had the feeling, she strings him along to have some hot young body beside her whiole working on her adult boy-friend towards marriage.
Good thing it changed towards ep10, but it was close.

*loves* Kimutaku dramas always have kissing, huh?
Nope. LV and Pride are the only ones where there is full frontal kissing IIRC. Beautiful Life has pecks, Good Luck has a kiss at the very end, and Engine & Hero have none.

So I guess I've seen all the kissing ones? Boo. And so glad I am not the only one not keen on Minami. I do think a large part of it was the actress who really didn't click with me.

Yeah I really didn't like her during the first viewing, I warmed a bit towards her while I watched it a second time but still something is off - and it is not the age gap. Kimura has more chemistry with the actress who plays Noriko-chan (the senior CA) in Good Luck!! than with Minami in LV.
