Yesterday docbrite made a post in neworleans about a woman and her daughter at the parades yelling to one of the riders "We're from Texas. We got your problems, now give us your beads!" yeah, people like those above really give the ones who want to help a bad name.

Whatever happened to those Christian values like "love thy neighbor"? Helping people in their time of need?

Hee-hee. Christian or not, I say those should be every-religion values (which I think they are...)

Unfortunately, people don't always have goodness in their hearts, and they want payback or something for taking the refugees in. Although I'm not sure how beads will make a person feel better.

Also, yay! for you on your new piercings. :) They look very cool, just haven't been able to comment on them yet.
