lovely! This Lying in bed that night, thinking over the last email he received from Radek, Rodney composes a scathing and brilliant reply that he will forget completely before morning. Somewhere between insulting Radek's parentage and inventing new ways to allude to the Atlantis expedition in a public email, Rodney experiences an unexpected, and yet really quite obvious, epiphany.

"Oh," he says to his ceiling, Radek's email forgotten a good 8 hours ahead of schedule. "Oh, crap."
is perfectly Rodney.

Thank you! I had a lot of fun writing Rodney's POV (so much so that I kept ending up 500 words over the limit), so it's nice to hear it worked for you.

Very angsty, yet sweet. Just the way I like it. I love Sandy's accusatory glare and Rodney's epiphany. He and John are both so bad at it, yet somehow get it right anyway.

I'm glad you liked it. :) They're just so adorable in their inability to express human emotion.

Thank you! "emotional without being girly" is totally what I was aiming for, though I didn't have such a nice phrase for it. :)
