Day 1, here we go

Work has been super slow today and yesterday. Students must be busy with classes because they haven't really been coming in. Instead, I've been using my time going through the many documents the last, incompetent, staff in my department left me. That and reading blogs. Mostly the blogs.

There are a few TV shows that were cancelled way too early! I remember a TV show called The Tripods from the 1980s about the world dominated by these aliens that move around in giant three legged machines and keep the Earth's population docile through mind control implants, and the show was cancelled before they finished the story, it was really annoying because it was quite a good show.

I never watched that, but it sounds like a lot of fun. I tried watching "V" but it moved a little too slowly. Good alien invasion shows are hard to come by I guess.

Definitely Arrested Development. I went a long time moaning about how it was cancelled. Loved that show.
