John Stewart is my freaking hero. I haven't gotten to watch the daily show much lately, which is a shame.

When I went to the DC rally earlier this year there was this girl who yelled out, asking if he would marry her. She was about my age. He laughed and said something along the lines of "I could be your father!". It wasn't me, but I'd totally propose to that man.

The Daily Show is something that I always want to watch and I love every single clip I see, but I can never get my act together and watch everyday. I wish I could. If I watched Stewart and Colbert more often I might actually be more informed on the state of politics in the States. I love that parody shows are ultimately more accurate and informative than the regular pundits.

Thanks! Whenever I see a band I love, I try to get there early so I can snag standing room space near the stage. It was interesting being up front at a concert of an artist I didn't know too well.
