Okay, Kurt telling his boss off for Blaine? Hot, not especially smart, but hot. Rachel is great in this chapter, really great supporting characters in this whole story. Love their vulnerability and their needing each other and their dedication to each other. Nicely done.

Kurt's boss was due a yelling at, if there's ever been a villain in this story, that dude was it. And yeah... Kurt telling him to get lost was rather sexy. I only wish Blaine had been there to see it. Thank you for complimenting me on the supporting characters in this...I'm never very sure what I'm doing with them because I don't know people like Rachel well enough to write her brilliantly and then OCs...well. So thank you for that. Hope you like the last few bits!!

Good god, no, no money to write. Unless you count science articles. Being a researcher, apparently, is meant to be far less stressful and difficult than being a writer. So that's the way I'm headed. Thank you for the huge compliment though!

This is so amazing. I knew there had to be some angst in here; we couldn't do a rematch of Kurt and Blaine and the year apart without some angst, but I am so proud of them both. Blaine for having the sense to call and speak and ask, Kurt for missing his meeting in order to talk and then telling off his boss in order to go home (JMW is a jerk, btw). Bravo. They've both learned a few things since last time, and I am so proud.

Oh, and Rachel is perfect. So sweet and supportive and blunt and funny (the table comment, omg.) She is the perfect BF here, and I love it.

Had to be a little angst and Blaine had to fall back into the same trap of being desperately lonely and, at his very core, this tactile, needy thing that just misses Kurt in a way that's so physical it's hard to explain and very much not the way Kurt misses Blaine. But yes, ten years of experience and growing up lets Blaine acknowledge the neediness and realize it doesn't make him a bad guy and it makes Kurt recognise that other people work differently and that if Blaine says he needs him, then Blaine needs him

Can I just point out my favorite line in this Chapter?:
“I think the bad porn was me trying to escape you… you’re like really, really good porn, Kurt.”

And the way you made me actually feel Blaine's pain and lonleynes:
"It makes him think, and then it makes him take a deep breath and remember all the things he hopes for. He stops feeling desperately lonely and ends up telling Rachel a hundred hopes and dreams for the future, only half of which he has dared to tell Kurt."

Thank you!! Blaine would totally think, and say, that Kurt was like really, really good porn. He really misses Kurt in a physical, tactile sense which Kurt doesn't quite get the same way and Blaine just doesn't know how to deal with it when it gets this bad. But he is and they are and it's all god. Next chapters is up, hope you like it! One to go!!
