Yeah, in the time period things mght have been a bit iffy as to peoples' reactions; but this is my story, so I thought, 'hell, Sid and Eugene were best friends their whole lives; Sid would want him to be happy'!!

Fantastic read! I love the idea of Sledge and Snafu together postwar when woven together with the need to heal the psychological wounds.

Also, Eugene begging + Snafu giving = superhot

Ending where Sid is happy his friend is happy - very sweet!
