So I mentioned this a while ago, so I suppose I should UPDATE THE UNIVERSE:

My grandmother fell some weeks ago and cracked her tail bone. This I have already reported.

However, the cracked tail bone turned out to be a crushed vertebrae D: D:!! Mom went out to visit her for the surgery but wasn't able to afford a ticket for me too ( Read more... )

What's the script on?

I'm not sure of the fine details but a lot of fools pull it off. Read a few movie scripts to get an idea for the format?

Scriptwriting? Oh wow. No resources here, though I imagine a quick Googling will come up with some.

I've been fumbling with a script myself, so I can offer a few things I'd heard... I don't have the name of the author I was told to look up, but I can get that to you when I find my notebook ( ... )

Now I think back I don't think she actually specified if it was film or TV. She said she would get my email from Mom (I don't entirely know why she didn't want to know it from me, maybe she didn't have any paper handy?) and send me the deeper info later.

Here- let me go ahead and give you two of the references:

Joe Mallozzi's blog - he's the producer behind Stargate Atlantis, and the one behind many of its scripts. He'll sometimes talk about his writing in it, but he's also open to questions, so he answers comments in the mailbag. He's the one who gave me the author to read up on, and to pick up a few scripts already.
