FINALLY Jumped On the Transformers Bandwagon.

Yup! Went to see it today. I picked a great time to go, because there were only a few people there and none of them were in the least bit obnoxious, thank god.

Out of curiosity, what did you think of Frenzy? You didn't mention him at all, yet he probably had the most screentime out of all the Decepticons.

LOL...probably because I don't remember his name being mentioned and I didn't know if that was him, or a remake of Soundwave. :)

But yeah, I LOL'ed. He was a hoot. :)

I don't think his name was directly mentioned in the movie, I only knew it because some friends of mine I saw the movie with pointed his name out. He certainly stole the spotlight though.

People are saying Soundwave is going to be in the sequel, so we'll see!

During the end fight when the guy shoots under Blackout, I kept screaming in my head 'It's Duke!'

Also, Starscream was so cool. Did you catch his doublecross? ;)

I really like Spike's Actor and Megan Fox is HAWT.

Also I loved that whole "baby come back" scene, I laughed pretty hard.

Oh, they're great actors, both of them. I just didn't particularly like their characters in this movie, that's all. At no time did I 'connect' with them and say, "Oh, I hope they don't get hurt! I hope they can hook up in the end!" I just didn't care. I cared much more about the Autobots. :P

It was generally explained by the writing team they wanted to make Sector 7 kinda doofy to keep the levity in the film. Had they been crackerjack government spooks suddenly the movie goes from being Crazy Robot Movie to creepy Stone/Clancy conspiracy theory.
