Good lord...

So, whilst bored at work, I was looking over listings for the xbox 360... and I have say if anything could possibly restore my faith in humanity... it isn't this.

People are spending upwards of $2500 on a $300 basic system and maybe 100 dollars worth of extra crap. I guess people haven't read this. Apparently, the thing is buggy to boot ( Read more... )

Many (ie: nearly all) people are fools, and 'M$' has little (ie: like nothing) to do with it.

I look forward to getting my 360 a few months down the road... buggy or not, it'll still be better than the PS3 (because it's not Sony...heh).

Also, I should add that all systems have their problems (as everyone has pointed oot), so for someone to go completely berzerk over the 360 being slightly buggy on launch or whatever really needs some therepy (electroshock, preferably). I'm sure Microsoft will fix it and make more systems and then all will be well.

People like to poo-poo things at launch... at least have a good reson to do so, I tell them. Like a plastic wand as a controller... that's good to poo-poo on. lol :P

Dude, I bet you like to be reminded about just how retarded most vidgamers really are...hehehe.
I know I do... heh.

Anyhow, yeah... preaching to the choir, I know ;)

I agree. I wasn't freaking out over the bugs at all. I posted the article, and the examples of past consoles not to say the 360 is a POS, but to highlight the pure irrationality of buying any expensive doodad at launch.

Imagine paying $800 on eBay for a 360 and having it lock up on you. Man, I'd be furious. Because not only did you pay double it's retail cost, but you prolly aren't covered under warranty, either.

Both problems that can be easily avoided by being patient. ;)

Exactly. People that pay double for new products on ebay are idiots. Plain and simple.
