Adding is such fun!
At lunch time a subset of the people who write models of ARM chips here in Cambridge go to Tesco. Some to buy lunch, others just to have a walk. We meet in a Jabber chat room to indicate if we are going or not to try and cut down on cat herding. The basics are covered by t++ and t--, but being geeks we get bored of this simple and common construct

Long time no see! I seem to have let LJ drop off my list of things I check every day / month / ever. Too many social networking sites and RSS feeds, so little time!
I didn't think I had posted in years, but it turns out I posted this a year ago today. So one year then!
I have you on an RSS feed now. Doesn't mean I will read your LJ, but I will feel guilty when I don't!
